Has Changed Alert Rule

Information on creating and configuring an Alert Rule for any Object type and any field value change in Contract Logix

Alert Rules for any Object type can be configured to send notifications upon any record level edits/changes using the record's Layout Fields. The scenario for triggering an Alert is to utilize the "has changed" field value setting. For example, if the Contract Value changes within a Contract record, use a rule here when creating the Alert Rule for the purpose of sending notification On or After when the change happens. In this way, when the Contract Value for a Contract record changes, an Alert notification is triggered and sent.

To configure, use the Start Alert Before or After Date drop-down menu and select either On or After. Next, in the Number of Days Before field, enter the number 0. Finally, further below use the Trigger When feature in the Alert Rule configuration pop-up window:
