The Alert Grid Visual Cues option in User Preferences turns on or off visual cues regarding the status of alerts in the Alerts grid, making it easy to see at a glance the current status.

Click on your name or avatar to display the User Preferences menu.
Select User Preferences.
Slide the Alert Grid Visual Cues switch to the ON position
