Alert Rules that are not needed can be archived, which will remove the alert from all existing contracts and prevent the rule from being added to new contracts. From an archived state, alert rules can be restored. To permanently remove an Alert Rule, use Remove.
To archive an Alert Rule:
Select Alert Rules from the Application Settings menu.
Select the checkbox at the beginning of the row. To select all rows, click the checkbox in the header.
Click Archive Records

To restore an Archived Rule:
Select Alert Rules from the Application Setting menu to display the Alert Rules grid.
Click the Show Archived
check box in the grid header.
3. Select the rule you wish to restore and click Restore Records
.
To permanently remove an Alert Rule:
Select Alert Rules from the Application Settings menu.
Click the Show Archived check box in the grid header.
Select the archived rule you wish to remove and click Delete Records
.
