Understanding APIs
Simply put, an Application Programming Interface (API) is a way for two or more computer programs to communicate with each other. To extend the value of the platform across the business, Contract Logix supports an application programming interface (API) that enables you to integrate with other applications in your contract ecosystem. By doing so, your organization can further simplify and accelerate data transfer and contract-related activities.
Contract Logix utilizes REST API, which ensures the integrity of your contract data across your business. It supports a bidirectional data feed between our central contract repository and your other business solutions that use or reference contract data, such as ERP, CRM, Accounting, and Business Intelligence (BI) systems.
API Use Cases
The following are just a few of the use cases for utilizing APIs:
Customer Resource Management (CRM) integration for sales and customer success.
Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) integration for procurement and purchasing.
Accounting systems integration for finance.
Contract Logix also has direct integration with Salesforce. Please see the Integrations Help topic for more information.
