Subscription Types

Information on the different subscription types in Contract Logix

There are four subscription types to choose from when adding users:

Full
Read Only
Submitter
Approver

What’s the difference between the subscription types?

Full users have access to all features and record types as defined by their role. Their access and permissions are controlled by the settings in their assigned role and the organizational level to which they belong.

Read Only users can view records and preview documents as defined by their role permissions and organizational level. However, regardless of their role settings, they cannot modify records; edit or check out documents; or access Application Settings.

Submitter users can only submit or save requests and view the requests grid. They have no access to any other portion of the system, regardless of the role they are assigned.

Approver users can review and approve Contracts, Requests and Documents throughout the contract business process. This subscription type can perform most functions like a full user. However, they cannot add new contracts or regular custom objects manually, nor do they ever have access to the administrative functions in Settings, regardless of their role permissions.
