Use this procedure to add a new section to a layout. Once added, you can move fields into the section.
Click
. The new section will appear under the summary (main details) section.Replace the text "New Section" with a label for the section.
Optional: enter some descriptive text for the section.
By default, new sections can be seen by users at all organizational levels. To restrict access to the section, click the Shield icon
in the section header. Select one or more organizational level(s). This will make the section visible to users in the selected levels and ABOVE (as indicated by the green eye icon
).Click the Gear icon
in the section header to choose to Show/Hide the Section conditionally using a Rule in the Layout (see graphic below).Click
.Drag fields into the section.
