Information on Advanced Search in Contract Logix

Use Advanced Search to perform searches based on record-specific search fields, or to perform full-text document searches.

  1. From the homepage, select under Tools in the sidebar menu.

  2. Select the Record Type you want to search in (All, Contracts, Contacts, Organizations, Documents, Assignments, Tasks or Alerts NOTE: Requests are also searchable). The default is All.

  3. If you want search results to include records that have been archived, turn the Include Archived Items switch to .

  4. You can enter values in record-specific fields or enter text to search for in the Full-Text field. Filters may be different depending on the Record Type you select.

  5. Click .

Search results appear in the grid below. If the text occurred in a document, a portion of the document is displayed so that you can see the text in context. Search text is highlighted.

Click in the search results list to open a record.

Click the icon to export the search results to PDF or Excel.
