Advanced Search with Advanced Criteria

Information on search field best practices when using Advanced Search in Contract Logix

Further refine your searches using Advanced Criteria – searches based on selected fields, operators and values.

  1. From the homepage, select under Tools in the sidebar menu.

  2. Select a specific Record Type you want to search in (Contracts, Contacts, Organizations, Documents, Assignments, and Tasks or Alerts NOTE: Requests are also searchable) and enter any general search criteria.

  3. Click .

  4. Select the Field Name to filter on. The available fields are based on the standard fields for the record type you chose in Step 2.

  5. Select an Operator (=, <>, <, <=, >, >=, starts with, ends with, contains)

  6. Select or type a Search Value.

  7. To add more advanced criteria rows, click the button. To remove a row, click the icon.

  8. When finished defining advanced criteria, click the button.

  9. Click the icon to export the search results to PDF or Excel.
