Use Quick Search to quickly locate any type of record or search for text within a document or record.

  1. Click in the Search… field located at the top of the page.

  2. Enter the text you’re looking for. Characters like ampersands, apostrophes, commas, etc. can be included in the search string. Optional search operators may also be used (see below).

  3. Click the search icon or press the Enter key.

NOTE: for a list of search operators and examples, click in the search results title bar. Operators can be combined to improve search results.

The number of search results is shown in the title bar, e.g. ‘30 Search Results’.

The search results list shows where the text was found, including the type of record, the record #, and a record identifier, such as the contact, organization or document name, or the contract title. The searched text is highlighted in each entry. If the text was found inside a document, a portion of the surrounding text is displayed.

Click on an item in the list to open the associated record. Or, select Show these ## results in a grid at the bottom of the list to go to Advanced Search. The search text will be entered into the Full-Text field in Advanced Search, and from there you can apply additional search criteria if needed. For more information, click the Advanced Search link.
