NOTE: Requests are a feature available in accounts which have paid for them.

Understanding Requests

A Request is a user's wish to add a record. This is usually a request for a new Contract, but can also be an amendment or addendum to an existing Contract record or even a new Contact or Organization record.

Users reviewing submitted requests have the option to decline the request. A declined Request cannot be re-submitted and ends the Request process.

  1. Select REQUESTS on the navigation menu, and select the appropriate request type.

  2. Click to open a "Submitted" request.

  3. At the top of the Request record, click on the menu bar.

  4. Enter the reason for declining the request in the pop-up and click .

What happens:

  • The submitter receives a decline email with the decline notes included.

  • The Request Status changes from “Submitted” to “Declined”

  • The Request form is locked and can no longer be edited or resubmitted. No further action can be taken for this request.

  • Declined notes can be viewed in the Request record by clicking </> above either the Request Stage or Request Status fields to display the Stage & Status tracking grid.
