When making changes to Lookup tables, a complete list of existing Lookups can be exported, altered, and then reimported in bulk to do the following:
Update and existing Lookup's value label
Delete an existing Lookup value in a table
Add a new Lookup value to a table
To Import/Export the Lookup, click the
icon to the Application Settings and then click
.
Select a Lookup list to adjust.
At the top of the list, click
.This opens the Import/Export Lookup modal window.
Use Step 1 and click the Export or Download Template button. If you have previously downloaded and adjusted the template spreadsheet, then use Step 2.
Open the spreadsheet template and make the adjustments to the lookup table as needed. NOTE: The Lookup ID number cannot be changed, just the lookup label as this is what will be changed upon import. To add values, enter them in the spreadsheet but DO NOT give them an ID number value.
In Step 2, drag and drop the file into the Dropzone box or select the box and search for the file locally on your computer.
Select the Next button. The system will analyze the file for errors, if there are none, click Finish.
