NOTE: The Clause Library and Templates is a feature available in accounts which have paid for them.

E-Signature tags will be passed to DocuSign or Sertifi to indicate signing locations for names, titles, dates, etc. within a document checked out for E-Signature.

  1. From the homepage, click to open the Application Settings.

  2. Add a new clause or open an existing signature block clause.

  3. Go to the Plugins tab in the editor.

  4. Click the button.

  5. Click the section header for DocuSign or Sertifi in the fields list.

  6. Use the drop-down to select the first signer (Signature 1).

  7. Insert the cursor where you want to add the tag and select the field(s) you want to insert.

  8. Repeat Steps 6 and 7 for additional signers (Signature 2, etc.)

  9. When finished, click in the menu bar.

NOTE: Many clients dislike the look of the signature tags, as they aren’t merged until the very end. As such, we often recommend making the font white to not see them. When signed, they will appear in black.
