How to Set Up E-Signature with DocuSign

Part 1: Enable DocuSign

  1. From the homepage, click the icon to open the Application Settings.

  2. Select the E-Signature Settings tab.

  3. Select the E-Signature Type DocuSign from the drop-down.

  4. Set the Enable DocuSign switch to the ON position. NOTE: Once ON, the E-Signature Type cannot be changed unless you switch Enable to OFF.

Part 2: Integrate Users

An e-signature user is anyone who will check documents out for e-signature. User must have a valid DocuSign account. This step integrates the user’s DocuSign account with CLX and grants their consent to allow files to be sent between CLX and DocuSign.

  1. Go to on the Settings menu.

  2. Select the user.

  3. To invite them to integrate their account, click

    1. (Note: In the USERS tab leave their DocuSign Username field blank. This will auto-populate after they are integrated).

  4. User will receive an email to confirm the integration. They should click Activate, log into DocuSign and agree.

NOTE: CLX tenant owner/power users who want to integrate their own account can click in Step 3 (no need to send integration email).
