Document files in Contract Logix Document records are locked when a user has "checked out" the file. This prevents edits to the file while the agreement is being reviewed/redlined.
If the Document Check-In "Enforce Auto Compare Documents Upon Check-In is ON, follow these steps:
From the menu bar in either the Document Details or Document Preview page, click
.
Click in the box, browse to and select the document you want to check in, OR drag and drop the document into the box.
Enter notes (optional).
Click .
If the document has been edited while checked out, you will see the message: "Document has some changes; press Continue to Preview".
Click to preview the document.
NOTE: Documents that have been "checked out" are locked and cannot be edited until checked back in. The user checking in the document does not need to be the same user who checked it out.
