Share allows you to send a copy of a document to another party (either internal or external). Sharing does not lock the document and should not be used for document negotiation or review (use Check Out instead).
Share Document via Email
(Sends the document as an email attachment)
From the menu bar in either the Document Details or Document Preview page, click
and select Share Document via Email.
Set the Track Changes toggle to the desired position (ON or OFF).
Set the Use Email Template toggle to the desired position (YES or NO).
If you are using a template, select it from the drop-down. You can modify the information carried over from the email template before sending it out by setting the Edit Email toggle to YES. Edits you make here only apply to this email and do not modify the template.
If you are not using a template, add your own Email Subject and Email Body.
Enter Notes (optional). Notes appear after the body text in the email and in Document Activity sub-grid on the Document Details page.
Select a Recipient Type (contact, user, or email address) and then select the user or contact or enter the recipient’s name and email address Click the appropriate button:

(for email addresses). Repeat for additional recipients.
For each name In the Recipients List, select the Recipient Type (TO, CC or BCC).
Since emails generated by the system come from the Contract Logix Administrator using a <no-reply> address, you can use the Reply-To checkbox to indicate who should receive replies instead of <no-reply>.

Share Document via URL
(Emails a link to download the document)
From the menu bar in either the Document Details or Document Preview page, click and select Share Document via URL.
Set the Track Changes toggle to the desired position (ON or OFF).
Set the Use Email Template toggle to the desired position (YES or NO).
