Mark as Primary

Information on and how to use the Mark as Primary feature in Contract Logix

As a record keeping aid, Documents can be Marked as Primary. These Primary documents will feature a visual indicator (bookmark icon). Marking documents as primary is helpful when comparing documents in the parent record and attaching documents to alert emails.

How to Mark as Primary

Click the bookmark icon to mark or unmark a document as a primary document within the parent record. In the Document parent record, the document marked as primary will appear with a blue bookmark icon and be labelled as "Primary".

Documents that are not marked as primary will appear with a grey bookmark icon and be labelled "Not Primary".

Documents can also be Marked as Primary from within a Documents or Supporting Documents sub-grid within a Record. Select the checkbox next to the document and click the Mark as Primary button.

NOTE: Document Record Access set to Edit is needed for users to utilize Mark as Primary, as seen below.
