When to use: You want to cancel an Amendment (version)
NOTE: Your role must have Contract Options – Cancel Version turned ON in Features Access.
How to Cancel an Amendment (Version)
Open the amendment (version) you wish to cancel.
Select Cancel Version from the menu.
Enter a reason for cancelation in the Comments box.
Click OK.
If the version you are canceling is the Active Version*, you will be prompted to select a new Active Version. Use the checkbox to select which version to make active and click Continue.
Once canceled, the record banner reads: Version Canceled, the page is grayed out, the record Status is changed to Canceled and the version is listed in Contract Version History with the row crossed out.
