This section of the Contract record is a grid which displays each version of the contract. The first time a contract record is saved, Version 000 is added to the grid. Subsequent amendments or manual versions are numbered sequentially, e.g. 001, 002, etc. and added as new rows. Addendums and terminations also add rows to the version history grid.

NOTE: Simply changing a field value and saving does NOT create a new version.

As with other grids, users may modify the sort order by clicking on a column header, remove unwanted columns from the display by deselecting them from the Columns drop-down, and filter columns. The default columns are:

  • Version: version number

  • Version Type: the action associated with the row (Original, Amendment, Addendum, Termination, etc.). If Make Active Version functionality is turned ON, this column also identifies which is the Active Version.

  • Stage: current Stage

  • Status: current Status

  • Version Notes: comments entered by the user who creates the version

  • Cancelation Notes: comments entered by the user who cancels the version

  • Created Date: date the action was performed

  • Created By: user who performed the action
