A Collaboration Room is a feature of the system where invited participants can review, comment on, redline and exchange messages with others about a document online. Using the Collaboration Room eliminates the need to send documents back and forth as email attachments during negotiations.
NOTE: Collaboration Rooms are a feature available only in accounts which have paid for them.
NOTE: The document currently being viewed in Collaboration Room must be in one of three Edit Modes using the
button to make Comments:
Edit Main Document
Work Offline
Edit Draft
To add comments
Select the text passage you want to comment on.
Right-click and select Add Comment from the menu or click the Add Comment button in the Collaboration tab in the top menu.
Enter the comment.
Click the Add button. The text passage is highlighted in the document.
To view comments
To view an individual comment, click within the highlighted passage.
To view all comments, click the icon in the left navigation menu to open the Comments panel.
To edit and reply to comments
To edit a comment, click the icon in the comment.
To reply to a comment, click the Add Reply link, enter your reply, and click the Reply button.
To mark a comment resolved, click the icon. Resolved comments appear as
.
To remove comments
To remove an individual comment, click the icon in the comment.
To remove multiple comments, click the Remove button in the toolbar and select the desired action from the menu (Remove Current Comment/My Comments/All Comments).
