Understanding Re-Run
For situations when the Contract file or files need to be reprocessed prior to becoming Contract Records in the system, there's the Re-Run capability. Once Bulk AI-Driven Contract Analysis and Data Extraction is performed, the view returns to the Bulk Data Extraction Page where a new line item entry appears in the Batches grid (for more information, click the Completing AI-Driven Contract Analysis and Bulk Data Extraction with Manual Verification article link). This Batch entry is the summation of the extraction process. From here, users can select one or all of the files in that batch for Re-Run.
Typical use cases for Re-Run are when the file or files need to be properly identified or additional Contract identification such as Aliases (for more information on Aliases, click the Contract Type Aliases for AI-Driven Contract Analysis and Data Extraction article link) need to be configured to assist in identification.
NOTE: Users wanting to Re-Run Batches must click the AI Re-Run toggle to ON for their User Role in the AI Data Extraction section, as seen below.
