Understanding Prompts
An AI prompt is the input (in the form of a question, command and/or statement) a user enters in the Description field to capture specific data. AI-Driven Contract Analysis and Data Extraction from Contract Logix automatically extracts legal language and contract data to populate a Contract record in the application (for more information, click the Artificial Intelligence AI-Driven Contract Analysis and Data Extraction article link). Contract Logix provides standard Field descriptions when AI DE is enabled within a field, however the description can be customized by users with the proper Role Permissions. To customize the Description (i.e., prompt), users will click to ON the Edit Prompt (Custom) toggle.
NOTE: Before users can use Edit Prompt (Custom), click to ON in the user's Feature Access AI Edit Prompts toggle for their Role in Org Roles/Permissions in the Application Settings, as seen below.

Using Edit Prompt (Custom)
The goal of the Edit Prompt (Custom) feature is more accurate contract data assimilation. An improvement of accuracy depends on customization of the Description field text based on language (e.g., a specific term or language used) from an agreement or agreements the AI-Driven Contract Analysis will use when performing Data Extraction.
