Auth0- How to Change User Authentication

Checklist to ensure SSO users are ready for the switch to Auth0

Written by Sara Doutt

As you know, Contract Logix will fully migrate to Auth0 on September 30th, 2026 Here's a checklist to ensure your team is ready for the switch:

  1. Create the new SSO connection (contact your Contract Logix Administrator)

  2. Test the new connection with a few users

  3. Move remaining users to the new connection

Create your new connection

Tenant Owners and any team member with access to Application Settings and permission to edit Authentication Settings can work with your organization's IT department to create the connection. By following the steps in our setup assistant, your team will be prompted to enter all necessary information from your existing SSO provider. For more information, see the setup guide HERE.

Test your new connection with a few users.

  1. Confirm the name of your new connection

  2. Identify test users to be moved from the existing connection to the new connection

  3. Click on the row of the test user to be moved to open the user screen.

  4. From the Authentication dropdown at the bottom of the user's screen, click the NEW connection (it will display the name you gave it during setup).

  5. Click Save.

  6. Ask Test user to try to log in.

  7. Repeat with remaining test users until all have been moved to the new connection.

Move Remaining Users

Once you've confirmed that your test users can access Contract Logix with the new connection, then you'll need to move your remaining users by repeating the step above until all users have been moved. You can view each user's SSO connection in Application Settings>Users>"SSO Policy" column

Please note: If you are not able to complete the migration prior to September 30, your users will not lose access. Instead, they will be prompted to create a password and log in via the LegalSifter Auth0 prompt (see below).
